Author of the Month: Joanna Davidson Politano
Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope everyone is having a lovely summer!
It’s time for another Author of the Month, and this month’s pick is… Joanna Davidson Politano!
Joanna gained me as a fan from the moment her first novel released-or really, before it released. I saw the cover before the book came out and knew I HAD to read that book! To this day, Lady Jayne Disappears has one of my favorite book covers ever, at least when it comes to this particular genre of Christian Fiction. Luckily, the book itself was just as intriguing and well-done as the cover! I absolutely loved every moment of this twisting-turning, romantic Victorian mystery and knew I would never miss one of Joanna’s future books.
Joanna’s second novel, A Rumored Fortune, was another intriguing mystery, and while it didn’t quite live up to my expectations after reading her debut, it was still very good. And even though it wasn’t quite my cup of tea, I have seen many, many reviews from others who adored it. Plus, it won a Christy Award the year after it was released!
My favorite of Joanna’s book so far is her third book, Finding Lady Enderly! It really kept me on my toes and even up to the last chapter, I wasn’t sure how the book would end. Talk about a page turner! It’s definitely a must read for all readers who enjoy historical romance with a healthy dose of mystery. You can check out my full review HERE!
Still on my TBR List are Joanna’s 2020 release, The Love Note, and her fifth book that comes out in a couple months, A Midnight Dance! I just adore both of these covers and I can’t wait to read them. I’ve heard that The Love Note is EXCELLENT!
Have you read anything by Joanna before? If not, now is a great time to start! 😉 I’m sure you won’t be disappointed and you’ll become an instant fan just like I did!
PS: Congratulations to Joanna and her husband on their “plot twist”, as they called it-AKA the baby they are expecting!! ❤️❤️❤️👏🏻
